K104.7 IS ECO-FRIENDLY!
1. Using E85 fuel in our Suburban station vehicle.
2. Replacing Styrofoam cups with more earth friendly alternatives such as employees bringing own dishes
3. Beginning our recycling program which will include all forms of office paper, plastic, aluminum, and cardboard
4. Implementing a building-wide initiative to conserve energy by keeping lights off when not in use.
5. Encouraging listener responsibility on-air and through the K104.7 “Green Room” on the website
6. Reminding listeners to “Stay Cool, Go Green” daily on the air.
