2008 Reach Out to Charlotte Nonprofits
with US $100,000 Raffle
US Airways is giving back to the community with the 2008 Reach Out to Charlotte Nonprofits with US $100,000 raffle. This initiative helps local charities raise thousands of dollars for their organizations with the opportunity to win travel and cash prizes. From Aug. 11 through Sept. 19, make a $10 donation to one of 25 local participating charities to enter the raffle, in which 10 lucky winners will each receive a vacation package to Puerto Rico and $1,000 cash! In addition to the cash and vacation packages for raffle winners, US Airways will donate $5,000 cash and $2,500 in travel to each nonprofit selling the winning raffle tickets. Proceeds will benefit all 25 participating nonprofit organizations. Winners will be drawn at a public event on Sept. 30 at 10:00 a.m. at the United Way of Central Carolinas.
